Regina scura doppio malto, SIOS Bierkit, makes 20 liter
A dark strong beer common to the Italian home brewer. With huge matiness and generous portion of hops our southern neighbors call it the "doppio malto". Regina scura has its roots in the Belgian Star beers but lacks the addition of ester-forming yeast. Thus, after a few months of aging you are left with a wonderfully rich beer. Best accompanied by a fine Italian cheese or dark chocolate (from Belgium perhaps?)
