Description

A true Kölsch can only be brewed in Cologne (if you intend to sell it). It is the only beer in Germany, that has this kind if territorial regualtions. The residents are very proud of their beer and drink it as often as possible. It is a refreshing, bitter brew with soft fruit notes. Similar in bitternes and color to a top-fermented Pilsner, Kolsch is the perfect compromise for the home brewer who prefers to drink a lager but cannot maintain the required low fermentation temperature.
